Participating with Oika grounds and deepens any lifestyle, practice, or framework. Creatives, educators, wellness practitioners, parents, systems thinkers, business people, scientists, thought leaders, engineers, farmers, spiritual contemplatives... Oika participation offers an enriching perspective that any human can apply to all parts of their life.
Oika Certification is one way to learn how to participate with Oika. It is a journey that takes time and care.
Oika Certification communicates an abiding commitment to Oika principles and practices. To hold them is to be affected by and act on the power of nature to heal and bring prosperity to all life on Earth. As in The Starkeeper, not only does one have to be willing to receive, hold, and create the light of the Creative Life-Force, they also have to give it away. That’s the only way a dark world gets brighter.
Individuals, institutions, businesses, and brands who have achieved Oika certification can display the Oika certification star.

Why Oika Certification?
Interest in Oika Certification can stem from any direction. Some examples are personal or professional growth, health and well-being, wisdom cultivation, or scientific curiosity. While these are in no way exhaustive, this graphic shows what happens when we repair our continuity with the Creative Life-Force.
Path to Certification
0. Be Curious Enough to Engage with Oika content
A great place to begin feeding Oika curiosity is Dr. Rich Blundell's YouTube channel. There, Oika concept videos, deep dives, Earth Stories, and interviews are available to enjoy at one's own pace.
1. Join a New Moon Campfire call
New Moon Campfires are friendly, open (virtual) calls at 12p ET every new moon. They offer a chance for any newcomers to introduce themselves and for Oika regulars to report news from their cultural fronts. Anyone curious about Oika from any sector - art, science, culture, wellness, academia, commerce, tech, etc. - is welcome to attend!
2. Match with an Oika mentor
Anyone is free to join New Moon Campfires with whatever regularity works for them. Over time and with repeat attendance, a rapport inevitably develops among and within the ecosystem. Should an individual wish to continue with certification, they would eventually invite an Oika-certified person to be their mentor. The function of this mentor is to serve as a direct line to Oika principles and practices; a listening ear and gentle guide as the individual investigates how Oika philosophy manifests in their own life.
3. Embark on an Oika Project
When ready, the individual proposes an Oika Project that incorporates Oika principles and practices into their life and/or work. What this might be depends on the interests and affordances of the individual. How the project realizes itself over time depends on the individual's grounded, co-creative relationship with the Creative Life-Force. Continued support is offered through the individual's mentor and those who attend Campfire calls.
4. Join Full Moon Campfire calls
Once an Oika Project is underway, the individual is invited to attend Full Moon Campfire calls in addition to New Moon calls (attendance to every call is not mandatory but some degree of presence is needed to maintain a reciprocal, entangled, abundant relationship with the Oika ecosystem). These calls are attended by others who are engaged in Oika Projects and serve as a space for support, updates, ideas, and deep dives into Oika content.
5. Live into your Oika work
After a period of time, with continued engagement and research, an individual will be granted Oika certification by the Oika Council, a decentralized group of Oika-certified individuals. The newly certified individual is then able to serve as a mentor for others.
6. Maintain right-relationship
Certification is maintained through continued growth and participation in the Oika ecosystem. Deep, grounded connection to the nature that we are part of is daily practice and a lifelong process. When it is nurtured, supported, and shared, its potential to brighten our lives and the lives of others is inexhaustible.
